The scar from the Lion King is very simular to Macbeth. Just like Macbeth, Scar took the throne by killing his brother so he could become king. Both Scar and Macbeth wanted power and blamed the sons for the murder. After, both Simba and Malcolm ran away. In both, Simba and Malcolm come back to take the thrown and both Macbeth and Scar end up dead.
There are also many ways that they are different. Scar did not feel any guilt after killing his brother, and he did not have any assistance like Macbeth had Lady Macbeth. Scar also did not have any respect and power before becoming king unlike Macbeth.
